Are you considering Great Accomplishments Academy for Autism and ADHD?
GAA is a great environment for students who need a challenge but do not function well in a mainstream setting. Students are taught grade level objectives that are closely correlated with the common core standards.
However, GAA focuses on strengthening the deficits of each student through interventions. It is important to us that students have a strong foundation of the basic skills in order to build on the complicated ones.
Early intervention is key, but it’s never too late to get the help that each student needs.
Is GAA a good fit for my student?
The learning environment at GAA is ideal for the following types of students:
- Students who may thrive in a smaller class setting due to being easily distracted.
- Students who do not perform well on tests benefit because understanding the material is prioritized over heavy testing.
- Students who may get in trouble often due to being a little more talkative, busy, or misunderstood.
- Students with challenges, such as anxieties, self-esteem issues, and other internal struggles, that have impacted their confidence as learners and their social lives.
- Advanced learners who struggle with any of the above matters have also found great success at GAA.

Core Values
- GAA values students and believe that they constitute the core of our mission.

North Carolina’s Education Student Accounts (ESA+) program is available to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Funds may be used to pay tuition and fees for eligible private schools, and for expenses such as speech therapy, tutoring services, and educational technology.
